Forest Bathing is about spending mindful time under the canopy of trees and allowing the forest to enable you to experience its health and wellbeing properties. Gary Evans, who set up the Forest Bathing Institute in the UK last year, describes a typical Forest Bathing session as lasting several hours, allowing people to slow down their bodies and minds. You then move slowly touching the trees and really taking the time to consciously savour the sensations of touch, sight and smell. The session concludes by lying down under the tress and looking up through the trees. Forest Bathing Forest Bathing
