Dawning Deadlines! Hello and welcome! How do you feel when you have a deadline to meet? It could be for example a work, study or even a personal deadline. What I find useful about deadlines is that they give a target to work towards. However, deadlines may also cause stress and anxiety in the lead up to meet them. How could you support yourself to meet a deadline? I find it useful to: • Organise, prepare and plan the resources needed to meet a deadline. • Chunk my time daily (or just certain days) to focus on the deadline work/tasks for a set amount of time (such as Mon-Thurs from 8am-12pm). • Aim to meet the deadline earlier where possible, to account for emergencies or potential delays.
